Membership fee: $100.00 per year renewable at the first of every calendar year.

THE BBA’S MANDATE:

The Bridgenorth Business Association is comprised of more than 100 local businesses, supported by the following mandate:

  1. To support and protect the economic well-being of all businesses in Bridgenorth.
  2. To speak as one voice for all business interests in the Bridgenorth community.
  3. To provide information [via a website and newsletter] for all business interests in the community.
  4. To promote Bridgenorth as a viable economic place to visit and to grow a new business.

BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP:

  1. By speaking with one voice, to provide more influence and power over decisions made by the municipality and County Council.
  2. To provide an opportunity to network with like-minded business owners.
  3. To provide a consistent and reliable means by which to communicate with other business owners.
  4. To assist or provide support for one another in areas such as advertising events for each business.
  5. To participate in the BBA website promotes the area as well as local businesses. The website will have links to all member businesses and in fact can link directly to your website. Therefore by promoting the area and the village, indirectly we will be able to promote your business as well as all member businesses Рan amazing opportunity.

POTENTIAL GOALS OF THE BBA:

  1. To work towards the removal of the bypass around Bridgenorth, which threatens the expansion of existing businesses, and new business ventures in the community.
  2. To promote the widening of Ward Street and lobby County Council to bury all utilities underground when the expansion of Ward Street takes place.
  3. To beautify the gateways to the community.
  4. To investigate the options available for providing sewer and water to Bridgenorth at a reasonable cost to businesses and individual ratepayers.
  5. To encourage the development of an Economic Development Committe for Selwyn and be an active participant in such a committee.
  6. To partner with like-minded individuals and groups in the community for the benefit of all.
  7. To create a vision of progress and growth for the community and surrounding area.
